Only Barbera grapes from our own vineyards are selected.
After a 10-day controlled fermentation in steeltanks, never more than 26°, the wine is then filled into French oak barrels for 18-20 months. Then at least 3 months after bottleing, the wine can be marketed.

The colour; a strong ruby red, very clear and with strong body. The aroma is intense, wide and brings with it the impression of red berries (blackberries) and a light taste of red cherries. Afterwords it develop a note of mint, Licorice and a breath of vanille.

The taste confirms the first impression; fullbodied, round and fruity. The aftertaste leaves a pleasant note of red fruits and licorice.
This wine should be consumed at a temperature of 16/18° C and is extremely suitable to red maet, venison and mature cheeses.
In a wine cellar with proper temperature, it can be stored up to at least 10 yaers.
